Ideally you want your volunteers to go to the volunteer’s website (https://volunteers.usawest.org) to register themselves, but you can also manually create your volunteers. Volunteer Management has two places where you can add volunteers, Volunteers by Opportunity and Volunteers by Location. The difference is that Volunteers by Opportunity will add the volunteer to the specific opportunity, and Volunteers by Location will just add the volunteer to the location.
1. Select Volunteers by Opportunity or Volunteers by Location.
2. Select Add or Add Volunteer depending on the previous selection.
3. The new volunteer wizard screen will open where you can start entering all the information about the user.
Note: First Name and Last Name are the only required fields, but try to enter as much information as possible.
4. Press Save and New to continue adding more volunteers, or Save and Done to go back.
