POS Common Issues - POS
The Point of Sales (POS) system of the ARC is an XP computer running the POS 2.0 shell. Below is what the computer displays once started up:

The following peripherals connect to the back of the POS computer:
- A receipt printer.
- Barcode scanner.
- POS keyboard.
- USB mouse.
- Network cable.
- Power supply.
The POS's are networked and communicate to a server at THQ. Each store has DSL or Cable service. Each store contains the following:
- A modem.
Note: The Modem is provided by the ISP provider.
- A Cisco router.
Note: The Cisco router is provided by TSA.
- Ultra VNC installed.
POS Common Issues - IP Address of POS
To locate the IP address of a specific POS, perform the following:
- Ask the user to select About on the Main screen.
Note: The IP address and the machine name for the POS appears.
