Upon receiving a new appointment, what happens with the officers files backed up on the O: drive?
Any officer that has a laptop and is taking their laptop along to the new appointment will have their files on their local machine already.
The O: drive is used as a backup mechanism, so there should never be any worry that the files are missing from the local machine.
The O: drive is intended for work-related files that the office shares, so these files should stay at the command.
Any exceptions need to be manually handled.
There is not an automatic transfer from the O: drive at one command to the O: drive at another command.
The command has the discretion to delete any files left behind on the O: drive by the officer.
