If two-step verification is set-up, you can utilize it to change your password. Perform the following:
- Enter your Recovery Key.
- Choose a trusted device.
Note: The Support Desk will send your device a verification code.
- Enter the verification code.
- Type in your new password.
- Select Reset Password.
Note: If you permanently lost your recovery key or access to your trusted device, you are unable to change your password this way.
- Once prompted to do so, sign back in to your Apple account on your Apple devices with your new password.
